Who we are
West Life Saving is a leading pool life saving club which prides itself on creating a respectful, fun and inclusive environment whilst, at the same time, providing strong pathways from junior to elite levels.
Our focus is on providing high-quality training to members for both Surf Life Saving Pool Rescue and Royal Life Saving Pool Life Saving competitions.
Our athletes include pool, open water and surf athletes who want to develop their lifesaving skills and compete across a wide range of different rescue events.
Our athletes include current WA State and Australian Team members.

We are looking for swimmers and surf athletes that are keen to try something new.
Athletes must be least 12 years of age and must be competent swimmers that are currently doing, or are prepared to commit to, a swimming squad 2+ times per week in addition to our training blocks:
Under 16s and above train and compete in lifesaving fins. Through the generosity of our gold sponsor, XFM, we have lifesaving fins available for new members to use at our training sessions. Under 14s train and compete in rubber fins.
